OUR STORY
We’re a familiar face with a new look. Formerly part of the Jacks of London group, Above Barbers is the new (but not new) face of barbering just off Southampton’s High Street. Since 2016 you’ve been trusting us with your hair and skin care and nothing’s changed – apart from our name.
When you step into our barbers it’s time to shake off the world outside and enjoy a little “me” time. Whether it’s for a special occasion or just “because”, you can crack open a cool beer or enjoy a steaming cup of espresso, sit back in our timeless barber chairs and chat to that familiar face while we work our magic.
Like most barbers we take walk-ins but you can also pre-book your appointment so that you see your favourite barber and the hands you trust to trim, shape, style and smooth your crown. We’re incredibly proud that our team in Southampton have been here for years - many of you have built great relationships with our clients and we love to see it.
We’re an inclusive barbers – cutting hair for all genders and ages, meeting any accessibility needs you have and we’re autism friendly. If you need extra space or even a haircut on the floor then we’re here to remove the barriers.
